You may have noticed that we’re quite fond of critters whose existence can’t exactly be confirmed or denied by science…
Cryptids and Coffee (A zine for people who love one or the other.) is a bi-monthly zine from the fine folks at the Ellijay Makerspace (EllijayMakerspace.org) about, well, legendary creatures and warm beverages. We’re fans of both, but there’s plenty to see for fans of either.
Why?
Well, because we live in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, an area that has a rich tradition of weird critters and mind altering beverages. We’re just carrying that flag for the next generation, highlighting the unexplained, the unexplainable, and the best ways to keep yourself awake for 36 hours.
Also, sometimes we’ll talk about other stuff, I guess.
Send your submissions to jess@ellijaymakerspace.org
Fearsome Creatures (1910) states that the Tripodero is one of “many queer freaks” found in the area.

Submissions are open for coffee stories, cryptid stories, art, poetry, and recipes. This will be an ongoing zine, so submissions will stay open.
